Winners from UFC Philadelphia, What’s Next?

The main card started off with Sodiq Yusuff beating Sheymon Moraes by unanimous decision in the featherweight division. Super Sodiq is 2-0 in the UFC and is looking keep climbing the featherweight ladder. After the fight he called out Kron Gracie so, if Sodiq wants it, I think it’s a great fight to make in the featherweight division.

Next we had to Kennedy Nzechukwu vs Paul Craig in the light heavyweight division. This fight was up and down with stoppages with eye pokes and low blows but, at the end Paul Craig won via submission very late in the third round. Next for Paul Craig would be against Gian Villante.

To keep the main car going with a female fight between Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Michelle Waterson in the women’s strawweight division. The Karate Hottie looked terrific winning by unanimous decision and she continued her UFC fight win streak to 3. Michelle is going to head to Brazil for UFC 237 to challenge the winner of the Women’s Strawweight Title Fight between Thug Rose and Jessica Andrade.

We had Josh Emmett Knockout Michael Johnson in the third round of there featherweight division fight. Josh Emmett has not fought for the UFC in over a year and has lost a lot of time in the stacked featherweight division. To try to gain back his momentum and jump right back into the title picture, I would match Josh up with Zabit Magomedsharipov.

In the co main event matched up David Branch vs Jack Hermansson in the middleweight division. Jack the Joker submitted David Branch in the 1st Round is a rising commodity in the UFC. I would match up Jack Hermansson with undefeated Paulo Costa.

In the main event that the UFC Universe couldn’t wait to happen was Edson Barboza vs Justin Gaethje in the lightweight division. In a striking war that we all predicted ended with a right hand from Justin Gaethje. The Human Highlight Reel is becoming one of the UFC’s must watch fighters. His next fight will be a main event level fight with a lot on the line, so I would match up Justin Gaethje vs. Tony Ferguson.
