UFC on ESPN+ 2: Assunção vs. Moraes 2 Staff Predictions

The predictions for UFC On ESPN+ 2

Livia Renata Souza vs Sarah Frota in the women’s straweight division: The Brazilian Gangster Souza is 11-1 and she can become a real contender in the division. This is Sarah’s first fight for the organization so, I will go with Souza winning this fight by Unanimous Decision.

Johnny Walker vs Justin Ledet in the Light Heavyweight Division. Johnny Walker comes in as the biggest favorite on the main card, with that being said I have Walker winning by 2nd Round TKO.

Jon Radford Pick: Johnny Walker

Max Van Auken Pick: Johnny Walker

Charles Oliveira vs David Teymur in the Lightweight Division. Charles Oliveira is one of my favorite fighters to watch, exciting and can submit his opponent at any moment. It’s very hard for Charles to gain momentum in the stacked lightweight division, but with that being said I have Charles winning by submission in the 3rd Round.

Jon Radford Pick: Charles Oliveira

Max Van Auken Pick: Charles Oliveira

Demian Maia vs Lyman Good in the welterweight division. Lyman the only American fighting on the main card goes into enemy territory to fight one of the most beloved Brazilian fighters of all time Demian Maia. Maia had a great winning streak going in the welterweight division till he fought for the championship belt, I believe Demian gets back on track with a win by unanimous decision.

Jon Radford Pick: Demian Maia

Max Van Auken: Demian Maia

In the co main event we have Jose Aldo vs  Renato Moicano in the featherweight division. Jose comes into this fight as a slight underdog. This fight has fireworks written all over it and could end early. Jose Aldo is not fighting Max Holloway or Conor McGregor so, I will Pick Jose Also winning by 1st Round TKO.

Jon Radford Pick: Renato Moicano

Max Van Auken Pick: Jose Aldo

The Main Event Fight in the Bantamweight Divison is a rematch between Marlon Moraes vs Raphael Assuncao. The winner of this fight can catapult to the #1 contender in the division for a future fight with title holder T.J. Dillashaw. Marlon has one lost in the last 8 years and that is against his challenger tonight Raphael. In the fight of the night I have Marlon Moraes Winning by Unanimous Decision.

Jon Radford Pick: Marlon Moraes

Max Van Auken Pick: Marlon Moraes
