The UFC is live in London this Saturday for the 9th week in a row with a live event in a different location and they are not done, the UFC has 2 more weeks with live events to bring the grand total of 11 weeks in a row run!
The UFC recently tied the knot with the biggest sports media network in the world ESPN. With partnering up ESPN the content rate is expeditious with events all over the world. Recently the UFC has had PPV’s, Fight Nights on ESPN and live shows streaming on ESPN+ They had some of the organizations biggest stars from Jon Jones, Cain Velasquez, Anderson Silva, Ben Askren and rising stars like Israel Adesanya, Thiago Santos, Francis N’Gannou, Kamaru Usman, Zabit Magomedsharipov to boost the masses to watch the greatest Mix Martial Arts company in the world.
But, is the UFC giving the fans too much? Is the UFC putting out to much content with a show every week? The National Football League is king on Television and a major reason why is they have a seasonal product that there fans know they need to watch before it’s gone. Maybe if the UFC has shows on every weekend for 12 months they will lose that Can’t Miss Feeling! I hope the UFC never loses the feeling of importance and does not dilute the greatest product in the world. For the fight fan in all of us, there is nothing like a big fight on a Saturday night.
