UFC Fortaleza’s Winners, what’s next?

M

Let’s start with the first fight on the main card from UFC Fortaleza on ESPN+2. Livinha Souza defeated Sarah Frota by split decision in the strawweight division, Souza needs to try to make a name for herself so I would match her up with Mackenzie Dern.

Next Johnny Walker defeated Justin Ledet in quick & nasty fashion with a 15 second TKO. Walker is a Light Heavyweight on the rise, I would match him up with Ovince Saint Preux.

With a epic anaconda choke Charles Oliveira defeated David Teymur in the Lightweight divison. The lightweight division is so stacked I believe Charles Oliveira moves back down to Featherweight where I would love for him to matchup with Josh Emmett.

It was old school in Brazil with Demian Maia rear-naked choke Lyman Good in a welterweight matchup. Maia has fought some of the all time greats in the welterweight division, but how about a great matchup with the only top 5 fighter without a scheduled fight the Interim Champion Colby Covington.

In the co main event Jose Also turned back the clock as well as he smashed Renato Moicano to earn a second Round TKO. Jose Aldo defeated every Featherweight in the game except the champ Max Holloway and the Notorious One Conor McGregor. There is one young hungry Featherweight left in the division, it would be a dream fight to make, so let’s matchup Aldo with Brian Ortega.

That brings us to the main event where Marlon Moraes submitted Raphael Assuncao with a beautiful round one guillotine choke. Marlon has to be the #1 contender in the Bantamweight divison but with T.J. Dillashaw wrapped up with the Henry Cejudo mess, the obvious matchup to make is Marlon vs Cody Garbrandt.

These matchups would be Bananas!
