The “Vanilla Gorilla” Chase Sherman returns to the UFC’s Octagon

Chase Sherman received that special phone call last night that every mixed martial artist awaits for, Chase are you ready to fight inside the UFC’s octagon!

The ex UFC heavyweight returns to the UFC after a 2 year lay off. However in those 2 years the Vanilla Gorilla got to work with an impressive 3 fight win streak for Island Fights exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. In those 3 fights the Vanilla Gorilla finished all his opponents inside the very first round.

Chase Sherman welcomes Ike Villanueva to the octagon on May 13th, Ike has won 5 out of his the last 6 fights. Ike Villanueva is currently the Fury FC light heavyweight champion and is also on a first round finish streak with his 4 last fights not making it to the second round.
