22-year-old flyweight prospect, Valerie ‘Master’ Loureda is set for her fourth professional mixed martial arts walk on May 7th. at Bellator 258 — tackling the 2-1 Hannah ‘The Hurricane’ Guy. The event is scheduled to take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

American Top Team mainstay, Loureda improved to 3-0 professionally back in August of last year, scoring a second-round ground-and-pound finish over Tara Graff in a rescheduled matchup. Each of Loureda’s three professional wins has come under the Scott Coker-led, Bellator banner.

Making her first appearance under Bellator’s scrutiny, Guy returned to winning ways last time out at Summit FC 35 — securing a rear-naked choke triumph over Vanessa Marie Grimes also coming in August last. News of the pairing between Loureda and Guy was first reported by Maxim reporter, Tom Taylor.

With two finishes from three professional walks, the Coconut Creek-based striker debuted professionally back in February of 2019, taking an opening-round knockout win over Colby Fletcher.

Tackling Larkyn Dasch in June of that year, taekwondo practitioner, Loureda gained the experience of a three-round contest — lodging a unanimous decision victory prior to her shelved matchup with Graff after she had suffered an injury in preparation for the January bout.

Relentless Grappling & MMA trainee, Guy plys her trade in Columbus, Mississippi — scoring a pair of notable submission wins in her two professional successes. Debuting with an armbar win over Jenny Clausius, Guy then suffered her premier professional defeat in the form of a split decision defeat to iKON Fighting Federation feature, Loureda’s American Top Team training partner, Kayla ‘K-Rock’ Hracho. As mentioned earlier, Guy also holds a rear-naked choke victory over Grimes.

Bellator 258 takes place on May 7th. from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut — with a bantamweight title clash between reigning champion, Juan Archuleta and challenger, Sergio Pettis scheduled to take main event status. In the night’s co-headliner, Loureda’s ATT teammate, multiple-time UFC middleweight title challenger, Yoel Romero makes his Bellator bow alongside former UFC light heavyweight championship chaser, Anthony Johnson in a much-anticipated light heavyweight Grand Prix bracket.
