Uber amateur prospect, SD ‘The Reaper’ Dumas – certainly made a huge impression on watching eyes ahead of his professional bow. The middleweight up and comer made his final amateur walk last night at regional promotion, Island Fights 63 – launching a massive head kick knockout to improve to 9-1 as an amateur.
On September 24th. – the 25-year-old will make his first professional walk, under the iKON Fighting Federation and UFC Fight Pass banner.
The Pensacola based finisher, who shares stables with the likes of Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal, multiple time middleweight title challenger, Yoel Romero, and current UFC light heavyweight best, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones at First Round Management plys his trade at Team Remedy BJJ & MMA in the ‘Sunshine State’.
From ten amateur appearances, Dumas has lodged an eye-catching four finishes, including stoppages via strikes opposite Ezekiel Jackson, Gabriel Henson, and Jaylin Castillo – and a submission triumph against Moises Carrasco.
Demus and Carrasco were initially scheduled to make their respective professional debuts at Summit FC 30 back in November 2018 – until the contest was shelved prior to the event.
