An interesting middleweight matchup between top-fifteen hopefuls, Kevin ‘The Trailblazer’ Holland, and Darren ‘The Dentist’ Stewart has been booked for a UFC Fight Night Vegas event on September 19th. The UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada is expected to play host for the card.

With two-straight wins, popular finisher, Holland looks to improve to 3-0 this annum, following a recent knockout victory over Joaquin Buckley at a UFC Fight Night Vegas event on August 8th.

Returning to winning ways at the same event – Taekwondo black belt, Stewart managed an eye-catching opening-frame guillotine victory over Dana White’s Contender Series alum, Maki ‘Coconut Bombz’ Pitolo. Multiple sources close to Fight Bananas confirmed the pairing, requesting anonymity in the process as the promotion are yet to officially announce the matchup – following Holland’s announcement on social media.

Another product of the aforenoted, Contender Series – Holland has really hit his stride in between defeats to recent light heavyweight title challenger, Thiago Santos, and Roufusport grappling ace, Brendan Allen.

Scoring five wins apart from those defeats – the 27-year-old Californian has scored notable other wins over Anthony Hernandez, Alessio Di Chirico, another Roufusport submission threat, Gerald Meerschaert, and former BAMMA middleweight titleholder, John Phillips.

Following a brief return to Cage Warriors back in March after the cancellation of UFC Fight Night London – Stewart managed to bounce back from a unanimous decision main event loss to Bartosz Fabiński.

An eleven fight Octagon veteran, the 29-year-old has scored four other notable wins over Deron Winn, Bevon Lewis, Charles Byrd, and talented submission artist, Eric Spicely. Stewart was scheduled to meet fellow middleweight mover, Marvin Vettori at the aforenoted London event in March – until the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic forced its ultimate cancellation.
