Ketlen Vieira may have been ultimately forced from her high-stakes pairing with Yana Kunitskaya recently, but the Brazilian has now been paired with veteran contender, Marion Reneau – in a rescheduled booking stemming from a cancelled UFC 250 meeting in May.

The Manaus native will matchup with Reneau on September 26th. at UFC Fight Night Vegas – with the UFC APEX facility tentatively planned to host the important meeting at 135-pounds.

Hoping to bring a crashing end to a three-fight skid, 43-year-old Rafael Cordeiro striker, Reneau last made her Octagon walk at UFC Fight Night Vegas in June – dropping a unanimous decision to one-time title challenger, ‘Rocky’ Raquel Pennington. News of the reworked bout was initially penned by MMA Junkie reporter, John Morgan.

Blitzing her way through the bantamweight ranks up to and until last December, 28-year-old Brazilian, Vieira managed four Octagon victories prior to her aforenoted knockout defeat to Aldana.

Debuting in October 2016, Vieira managed a close split decision triumph over Kelly Faszholz, prior to a judging wins over Ashlee Evans-Smith, former title challenger, Cat Zingano, and one-time title tilter, Sara McMann.

An eleven fight UFC veteran, ‘The Belizian Bruiser’ Reneau has managed a 4-5-1 Octagon record since. In highlight wins, Reneau has managed to defeat former strawweight titleholder, Jéssica Andrade, as well as common opposition, McMann, and Talita Bernando.
