Report: Impa Kasanganay vs. Maki Pitolo slated for UFC Vegas on August 22nd.

Well, talk about a swift arrival to the UFC. Fresh from his unanimous judging win over Anthony Adams on Dana White’s Contenders Series last night – undefeated Florida born prospect, Impa ‘Tshilobo’ Kasanganay has his first Octagon outing set.

On August 22nd. at UFC Fight Night Vegas from the UFC Apex facility – the 7-0 upstart is slated to match with recent feature, Maki ‘Coconut Bombz’ Pitolo in a middleweight meeting.

Gym-O trainee, Kasanganay made his second appearance under the DWCS banner last night, following a prior victory over Kailan Hill last August – in another unanimous decision triumph. UFC president, Dana White confirmed his intentions to pair Kasanganay and Pitolo during last night’s broadcast.

Also making a quick turnaround, DWCS alumnus, Pitolo made his last UFC appearance in Vegas just last weekend. Taking on Darren ‘The Dentist’ Stewart in a 185-pound tie, Hawaiin upstart, Pitolo dropped a first-round guillotine defeat.

August 22nd. will mark Pitolo’s third Octagon walk of the year, following a matchup opposite Charles Byrd in June at UFC 250 – managing an eye-catching second-round stoppage via strikes – returning to the win column in the process.
