A bantamweight matchup between professional debutantes, Bella Mir, and Danielle Wynn is set for iKON Fighting Federation 2 on October 22nd. from the Marinaterra Resort & Spa Event Center in San Carlos, Mexico – live on UFC Fight Pass.
Mir, the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion, and recent Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship signee, Frank Mir – will make her premier professional appearance – hoping to continue the legacy paved by her father. News of Mir’s professional debut was first reported by ESPN MMA reporter, Ariel Helwani.
The 17-year-old, who is managed by Malki and Abraham Kawa of First Round Management is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has extensively plyed her trade under the tutelage of her father, Frank.
Also hoping to strike it rich in her professional bow, 4-3 amateur, Wynn tackles Mir in a 135-pound affair. The Atlanta, Georgia native has taken four decision wins from four amateur victories, dropping judging losses of her own to Morgan Hickam, and Charsley Maner – in between a rear-naked choke defeat to Melanie Carter.
As well as learning her craft from former UFC heavyweight best, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace, Frank Mir – Bella Mir has also shared time with veteran Canadian standout, former Strikeforce and Invicta FC bantamweight best, Sarah Kaufman.
