Touching down in San Carlos, Mexico once again, iKON Fighting Federation live on UFC Fight Pass held it’s third flagship event last night – featuring a seven-fight card, stacked high with prospects.
Returning to winning ways, 29-year-old American Top Team trainee, Kayla ‘K-Rock’ Hracho returned to the winner’s enclosure with a first-round rear-naked choke victory over Tactical Fight Academy up and comer, Jessica ‘Asthartea’ Solis.
In the night’s quickest and arguably most impressive performance, Pete ‘Dead Game’ Rodriguez improved to 2-0 professionally with a stunning ten-second flurry to put away the veteran, Yasser ‘Pantera’ Guzman in the opening round.
Dana White’s Contender Series alum, Luis ‘Lazyboy’ Rodríguez himself returned to winning-ways in last night’s co-main event, Paul Marquez Moreno with a left-hook midway through the first frame. The 11-2 prospect had featured on the Contender Series back in August, losing via unanimous decision to Jerome Rivera. The defeat snapped a ten-fight unbeaten start to the bantamweight’s career.
Battling to a unanimous draw (x3) over five-rounds, Combate Americas and Brave Combat Federation veteran, Alejandro ‘El Pato’ Martinez took on Daniel ‘Danger’ Vegas to close the curtain on a night featuring five stoppages all round.
