Some great news coming out of the Paige Van Zant and Austin Vanderford camp tonight. The ass-kicking couple will be broadcasting the pilot episode of their new, action-packed combat-sport love story, aptly named, “A Kickass Love Story,” LIVE on the video streaming platform YouTube at 4.30 pm EST.
“A Kickass Love Story,” is set to follow the power couple’s journey as they navigate their way through professional combat sports.
Viewers will no doubt get the inside scoop on Vanderford’s (11-0) ascent up the rankings at Bellator MMA. Plus, there’s almost guaranteed to be plenty of content on Paige’s transition from those famed UFC gloves to bloody bare knuckles. And, hopefully, all the trials, tribulations, and little moments of married bliss that come about in between.
We’re hyped on it – it looks like a great show.
What to Expect from the Pilot Episode of “A KickAss Love Story?”
Paige Van Zant is clearly in for quite an exciting weekend. Not only will the new show premiere for the first time. But the former Dances With the Stars finalist is set to make her first appearance under a new promotional banner, too.
Van Zant is set to duke it out with Rachel Ostovich just a few hours later on Friday night at what promises to be an action-packed BKFC19!
The debut will have to wait though. This afternoon’s first episode of ‘ A Kickass Love Story’ is almost sure to dazzle in a different way. We implore fight fans (and the romantics among you) to tune in.
We’re expecting the show to chronicle some of Van Zant’s intense preparation for a return to fighting. We’re also hoping to learn more about what drove Van Zant over to the BKFC, too. It should be plenty interesting.
Plus, how equally badass husband Vanderford has been doing since his recent victory over Fabian Edwards. The last time fans got a glimpse of Vanderford was when he defeated Edwards at Bellator 259 back in May. And, at 11-0, a shot at the Bellator 185lbs strap can’t be too far on the horizon.
Plus, who knows what else? We have no idea what two elite athletes get up to in their free time. But it will be fun to find out – “A Kickass Love Story,” Friday at 4.30 pm EST.
