UFC veteran Max Pain Griffin got a phone call the morning of the UFC Vegas 22 from the UFC and was told he would be elevated to one half of the co main event. At the UFC Post Fight Press Conference, Max told media members when he heard the news he was in the co main event on ESPN “I broke down crying”. Max Griffin and his team had aspirations of getting a ranking and being apart of co main event this calendar year. With a big smile, Max Griffin said “to reach these goals already in the first quarter, man I’m happy”!
Max Griffin also took full advantage of his opportunity and called out top 10 welterweight Geoff Neal for a PPV clash at UFC 262 in Houston, Texas. Max is one of the good guys in the sport with a newly minted 2 week old baby and after a career changing performance, 2021 could be the year of Max “Pain” Griffin.
