Top 5 matches to make after UFC on ABC 2

Marvin Vettori vs Darren Till

In the main event of UFC on ABC 2, Marvin Vettori dismantled the “Trailblazer” Kevin Holland. Marvin Vettori is on a 5 fight winning streak since his split decision lost to the champ Israel Adesanya. All though a lot of people in the MMA media thinks Marvin verse Izzy could be next, I truly believe we need to see Marvin against Darren Till. The winner of the matchup of Marvin & Darren would get the immediate title match against whoever the champion is at the time, the UFC Universe needs to see Marvin Vettori one on one against Darren Till.

Arnold Allen vs Josh Emmett

In the co main of two impressive featherweights, Arnold Allen defeated Sodiq Yussif via unanimous decision. Like DJ Khaled said, all Arnold Allen does is Win No Matter What! Arnold Allen is on a 10 fight win streak and boost his record to a phenomenal 17-1. Arnold is entering his prime fighting years and looks on his way to a title shot. However, I would matchup Arnold up with tough as nails contender Josh Emmett. I believe Emmett & Arnold could headline a fight now or co main event a PPV.

Julian Marquez vs Ian Heinisch

Like a wrecking ball, Julian Marquez destroyed his Sam Alvey with a 2nd round KO at UFC on ABC 2. After being away from the octagon for over 2 years, Julian has achieved 2 wins in the last four months. The Cuban Missile Crisis has won 7 out of 8 and is itching for a top 15 contender. I would matchup Julian against always game Ian Heinisch. With a win against Ian, there would be a party in the USA (yup two Miley song quotes in one paragraph, you’re welcome).

Mackenzie Dern vs Joanna Jedrzejczyk

Slight underdog Mackenzie Dern controlled and made short work of Nina Nunes with winning via a 1st round Armbar. In my favorite piece of match making, I would matchup up ascending Dern against the biggest name in the strawweight division Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Mackenzie Dern is on a current 4 fight win streak and has an impressive 11-1 overall record. To me Dern verse Joanna would be a #1 contender for the UFC’s Strawweight Championship.

Daniel Rodriguez vs Niko Price

Daniel Rodriguez started off the UFC on ABC card with a dominant victory over UFC veteran Mike “Platinum” Perry. The 34 year old southpaw is 4-1 under the UFC banner and has set himself up for a pivotal top 15 matchup. Daniel Rodriguez loves to display his striking talents and that’s why his next matchup should be against Niko Price.
