A welterweight title rematch between incumbent champion, Kamaru ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Usman and BMF champion, Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal is slated to headline a tripleheader of title fights at UFC 261 c on April 24th. — from the Vystar Veteran’s Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida — with the gate open to a full crowd of attendees.

Attempting to notch his fourth successful defence of the welterweight throne and knockback Masvidal for the second time during his reign, Usman is fresh from a third round knockout win over former Sanford MMA teammate, Gilbert Burns at UFC 248 in February.
For Masvidal, the American Top Team staple returns for the first time since his short-notice title matchup with Usman at UFC 251 last July on ‘Fight Island’ — where he dropped a one-sided unanimous decision loss. UFC president, Dana White revealed the news in a video package released by the promotion tonight.
As dominant a welterweight force as the division has seen in recent years, recent Trevor Wittman student, Usman took the title from former champion, Tyron Woodley in March of 2019 — before lodging a trio of title knockbacks against former interim champion, rival, Colby Covington, soon to be two-time foe, Masvidal, as well as the aforenoted, Burns.
Hometown favourite, Masvidal makes his anticipated return to action, having enjoyed a career resurgence back in  2019 — which included blockbuster knockouts of Darren Till, a five-second, record-setting, flying-knee stoppage of Ben Askren, and a BMF championship win over Nate Diaz.
Rounding off the tripleheader of title tilts, Zhang Weili defends her strawweight title against Rose Namajunas, and flyweight queen, Valentina Shevchenko looks to prevent the uprise of former 115-pound best, Jessica Andrade.
