Ahead of her professional mixed martial arts debut at iKON Fighting Federation 2 in San Carlos, Mexico on October 22nd. on UFC Fight Pass – Bella Mir has taken time to speak of her admiration for former UFC bantamweight best, Holly ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ Holm.

The 17-year-old is slated to make her first venture in mixed martial arts – transitioning to the sport without an amateur background. The wrestling prospect has drawn opposite fellow debutante, Danielle Wynn, who holds a 4-3 amateur record ahead of the upcoming tie.

Under the banner of First Round Management with Malki and Abraham Kawa, Mir – the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion, former Bellator feature, and recent Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship signing – Frank Mir, spoke of her admiration for recent UFC Fight Island headliner, Holm, during a recent interview with Fight Bananas’, David Van Auken.

As a fighter, probably Holly Holm,” Mir said. “I just love her personality – I wouldn’t really follow much of her kickboxing stuff ’cause I’m more of like a wrestler. But I do love her personality and how she treats her opponents. I love how she just – I love how she respects her opponents, and how she puts her name on herself. I have so much respect for her for that.

Holm, a former UFC bantamweight champion who scored the crown with an infamous high-kick knockout of Ronda Rousey, recently extended her winning run to two-fights with a unanimous decision win over Irene Aldana, to go with a January judging win over Raquel Pennington.

iKON Fighting Federation 2 takes place on October 22nd. from the Marinaterra Resort and Spa Event Center in San Carlos, Mexico – with a featherweight matchup between Alejandro Flores and Andy Perez taking main event status.
