Does UFC miss Mighty Mouse

Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson is one of the greatest champions in UFC history. DJ dominated the UFC flyweight division with 13 straight wins and is unquestionably the greatest flyweight in mix martial arts history. Last August in the co main event at UFC 227, Demetrious Johnson lost a razor sharp split decision with Henry Cejudo and was never to been seen in the UFC octagon again. Demetrious fought with pace that could not be matched. With his amazing speed, he started to develop his striking skills that the UFC universe all saw with a KO of Joseph Benavides. With his wrestling, fast pace and striking skills, DJ also become an outstanding submission fighter. With submission wins over Chris Cariaso, Kyoji Horiguchi, Wilson Reis and Ray Borg. Demetrious Johnson was the total package, an almost perfect mix martial artist. But, after his loss to Henry Cejudo there was not a lot of buzz for a rematch and then the UFC made a groundbreaking trade with One Championship. The UFC traded Demetrious Johnson, the company’s greatest flyweight of all time for Ben Askren who was the best fighter today who has never fought under the UFC banner. Last month Demetrious Johnson won his debut fight for One Championship, like there was any doubt, all Might Mouse does is win mix martial art fights! I believe the UFC misses Demetrious Johnson and one day hopefully Might Mouse returns to the octagon to build on his legacy of one of the greatest UFC Champions of all time.
