November 12, 2016 Conor McGregor won the Lightweight Championship from Eddie Alvarez at Madison Square Garden. On that night The Notorious One became the first UFC fighter ever to hold Championship gold in two different weight classes at the same time and was on top of the Mix Martial Art World. Since that cold night in New York City, Conor McGregor has been on a downward spiral.
Conor McGregor left the MMA scene to challenge Floyd Money Mayweather in a boxing match in which he made tons of money but, lost the fight. He got arrested for throwing a dolly at a bus that broke the glass and injured innocent people. He then challenged the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov for the Lightweight Championship and got smashed and choked out. Conor wasn’t just embarrassed inside the octagon, Khabib started a riot attacking Conor’s friends outside the cage. The riot that spilled into the crowd is the darkest moment so far in the organizations history. All of this chaos brings us to the present day of Conor McGregor getting arrested in Miami, Florida for attacking a mans cell phone. We have a lot of sad stories of celebrities, athletes and fighters that lose there way and never get back to glory. I hope the only avenue of destruction for Conor McGregor happens to his opponents inside the cold steel of the UFC octagon on his path to the Championship!
