Conor McGregor inspires two impoverished teens to lift themselves out of poverty

They have been training at China’s Enbo Fight Club – a controversial MMA gym in the city of Chengdu, Sichuan.

The gym has taken in some 400 orphaned or poverty-stricken children over the years, and several have risen in the ranks to become well-respected members of China’s underground fighting scene.

Xiao Long, who has only been part of the establishment for 10 months, idolises Dublin-born McGregor, who has held the UFC Lightweight title since 2016.
