A evolution in the female division for Bellator MMA

Humongous news came out of Bellator MMA this week with the signing of Cris Cyborg. Bellator President Scott Coker told media that Cyborgs new deal is “record-breaking” and he can’t wait to “promote her once again”! When Ronda Rousey walked into the octagon for the UFC in February of 2013, a evolution was born for the company! The UFC has used female MMA to spark multi mega deals with some of the biggest companies in the world. Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes was the Main Event of UFC 200 and now with Weili Zhang becoming the first Chinese decent UFC Champion, anything is possible. It’s time for Bellator to use UFC’s blue print and spark an evolution for female MMA in Bellator. They have new blood that is ready to explode for the company names such as Champion Julia Budd, Valerie Loureda, Jessica Borga, Champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and newly signed Cris Cyborg. Scott Coker should let these ladies Main Event and ignite Bellator into a frenzy!
